Mrs. Stokke's Biography
Dear Elder Grove Community,
It is a pleasure to say that as of 2016, I have been teaching at Elder Grove for 30+ years, still love my job, and still enjoy coming to work. Currently, I teach 8th grade Language Arts and Art II. Previously, I have taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
I was born in Whittier, California, and my family settled in Laurel, Montana, where I graduated from high school. For one year I attended Eastern Montana College, (currently MSU-B), then transferred to MANU in Olathe, Kansas, from which I graduated in 1983.
After returning home, I landed my first teaching job at Elder Grove and have been here ever since. In 1985 I married my husband Sam, and we have two grown children, Erica and Zach.
Some of my hobbies include playing the piano, scrap booking, running, traveling, and being with friends and family. Elder Grove is a great community to be a part of. With supportive parents, great kids, and an awesome staff to work with both professionally and personally, my life is truly blessed.
Sincerely, Lorna Stokke
