My name is Karen Laborda and this is my 18th year teaching at Elder Grove School. I have spent all 18 years in the middle school and absolutely love this age group! This year I am teaching 8th History, 7th Geography, and Spanish.
I grew up in Butte, Montana, and moved to Billings in 1987. I graduated from Montana State University-Billings with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education, a teaching minor in Spanish K-12, and a minor in Business Administration.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Pascual for 32 years. Pascual is a Petroleum Engineer who retired from the Bureau of Land Management after 30 years of public service. After retiring, he began working for SM Energy as a Government Permitting and Reporting Supervisor. SM Energy recently announced closing their Billings Office which has led to Pas beginning his own consulting business.
We have three grown children, three grandchildren, and two young Siamese cats who keep us plenty busy!
