Hello!  I am Miss Seago, the K-1 General Music and 5-8 Grade Choir teacher, and I am very excited to be at Elder Grove!

While I was born in Montana, I spent most of my "growing up years" in Worland, WY.  I particpated in general music, choir and band all the way through my education in Worland.  I was selected for the All-Northwest ACDA honor choir one year and the Wyoming All-State choir the next.  I also received the National High School Choral Award for excellence and leadership within the choir program.

I decided to go on an adventure to new territory for college and moved to Arkadelphia, Arkansas to attend Ouachita (wash-ih-tah) Baptist University where I majored in Choral Music Education.  I studied piano as my principal instrument under Dr. Ouida Keck.  I also studied voice and oboe.  After graduating summa cum laude with my Bachelors Degree in Music Education.  I taught in southwest Arkansas, the Houston area, northwest Montana, and Casper before moving to Billings this summer and taking the job at Elder Grove.

When I am not at school, I love spending time at home with a good book and my two cats, Austin & Annicka.  When the weather is nice enough, I can also be found outdoors exploring local, state, and national parks and scenic drives with my camera.  As time allows, I also visit my parents, who still live northern Wyoming, and my younger brother who recently graduated from the University of Wyoming.
