I am excited to be returning to Elder Grove as a 2nd grade teacher! It will be a privilege getting reacquainted with our Elder Grove community, and I consider many as dear friends. I have over 15 years’ experience in education, having previously taught in public and private school including Billings School District #2, Lockwood, Billings Christian School, and four years as a para-professional here at Elder Grove. Raised in a farming and ranching community in Montana, I participated in track, student council, cheerleading, and equestrian activities, served as church pianist at age 13, and graduated Valedictorian from Hysham High School. I attended Montana State University-Billings and received a B.S. in Elementary Education with honors and a concentration in mathematics.
My husband and I have 2 children (ages 12 & 14) that attend Elder Grove. When I am not in the classroom, you will likely find me cheering on my children on the basketball court or football field and chauffeuring them to all their activities. You will also find me teaching Sunday School on the weekends. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing the piano, camping, and photography. We have 4 horses and after many years of persuasion, we finally have a dog.
It is my goal to be a nurturing and enthusiastic teacher who can make a positive impact on each student every day and inspire a curiosity for learning that never stops.
